Natural Composition

These here are my three pet turtles, Thor, Mohinder, and Norah. They make pretty good models. Especially because every once in a while I find them in the strangest formations. They climb up like this trying to get the most light they can to bask in. It looks rather strange to us, but I suppose it must be practical to them.

Easter Fun

While getting all the decorations for Easter out of the closet, my mom found these two Easter rabbit costumes (a pair of ears and a tutu with a bunny tail) and the two 3 year-olds decided they needed a test run before Easter. A whole lot of fun, and quite a few pictures ensued as the girls yelled at me to capture their every move. "Alex, take a picture of this!" "No, take one of this!".

Old East

I often show pictures here of my home neighbourhood, but I tend to leave out much of the city in my photos. Mostly because I tend to stay in Old South and Downtown. But that isn't to say that I never see the rest of the city. My brother lives on Quebec street, in Old East, and since I see him there often, and always have my camera with me, I do occasionally acquire photos of Old East. And from what I've seen, it seems to be a completely different atmosphere to Old South; not better or worse, just different. Last time I cycled my way over there I stopped on a train bridge on Quebec St. and made these two photographs.
